Vascular Technologist / Sonographer – East Midlands UK Part Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a sonographer to join The Whiteley Clinic, the world’s leading specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease and known for pioneering cutting-edge techniques to treat varicose veins, venous ulcers and pelvic congestion syndrome.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified sonographer to join our friendly team of expert sonographers and vascular technologists at our private practice. We are looking for sonographers with experience in gynaecology and abdominal scanning, with vascular / venous experience desirable but not essential as we will train you in all our techniques.

This opportunity will provide you with the chance to increase your scanning repertoire and learn highly specialist techniques including transvaginal scanning for the diagnosis and assessment of pelvic congestion syndrome, in addition to working closely with and providing intra-operative ultrasound support during endovenous ablation for our team of expert surgeons.

We will provide full training and support and you will be encouraged to take part in our award-winning research and have the opportunity to take part in domestic and international conferences. You will be able to build rapport with our patients and see them through their treatment journey, from start to finish.

Our headquarters are in Guildford, with clinics in London, Bristol, Poole, Henley-on-Thames and Manchester too. We are looking for sonographers around the country who would be willing to work at our various Clinic locations.
