Sales Administrator – Part time 4 or 5 days Part Time NEW

A well-established business is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join its team on a permanent, part-time basis

This is a varied role within a small team of six, supporting both sales and finance. The successful candidate will take ownership of the sales administration function, covering everything from quotations and orders through to customer accounts, contracts and detailed project administration.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am-2.00pm or 9.30am-2.30pm – other hours can be discussed but must be 25 hours over 5 days, fully office based or longer hours over 4 days
Location: Fully office based
Holiday: 26 days plus 8 bank holidays, with 4 days from the annual allowance used during the Christmas shutdown

16.48 an hour

The role will include:

• Preparing and issuing quotations, sales offers and order documentation
• Processing sales orders and raising purchase orders with approved suppliers
• Managing detailed project administration, including maintaining accurate costings, orders and project information
• Supporting the administration of equipment imports and exports through to delivery
• Keeping CRM and sales databases up to date
• Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining existing account information
• Setting up and maintaining customer contracts and related documentation
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, field sales staff and internal finance teams
• Responding professionally to telephone and email enquiries
• Providing general administrative support to the sales and finance teams
• Preparing presentations and other sales documentation
• Supporting general office administration where required
• Taking ownership of tasks and using initiative to ensure everything is completed efficiently

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous Sales Administration experience, which is essential
• Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of their workload
• A proactive approach and the confidence to get on with tasks without constant supervision
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using a CRM or sales database
• Experience with Salesforce, Globe or another CRM system would be useful, although full training will be provided
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and detailed administration accurately

This is a standalone Sales Administration role within a small team, so it would suit someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility for their own workload.

Full training will be provided on the company’s systems and processes.
