We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Physician to work with us at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust within Respiratory.
We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the Worcestershire community.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
To provide specialist respiratory advice to acutely unwell respiratory patients
To facilitate early discharge or prevent admission of respiratory patients where appropriate
To ensure respiratory patients benefit from specialist input when managed on an outlying ward.
Daily ward rounds
Participation in the General Internal Medicine responsibilities of the Respiratory Team including the general medical on call
Support of the unit’s goal of delivering highly effective care approaches
Teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students and junior staff
Participate in both department and Trust matters concerning clinical governance and audit.
Have responsibility for ensuring active participation in CME throughout.
Support development and delivery of sub-specialist respiratory services
Details about the role:
Speciality: Respiratory
Location: Worcestershire
Shift patterns: 8:30-17:00 Mon-Fri on-going (part-time hours also available )
Hours per week: 20-50 hours available
Start date: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
Rate of pay per hour: £105-£125 depending on experience
Payment method: PAYE we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies
Doctors Direct recruit to the highest of NHS standards and all candidates applying for this role must have the following:
Valid GMC
Right to work in the UK
Clinical attachment complete
Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
