We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Children’s Manager to join our team. As the Registered Children’s Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of children in our facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills and experience in providing care for children with diverse needs.
Duties:
– Develop and implement care plans for children based on their individual needs
– Supervise a team of caregivers and provide guidance and support as needed
– Ensure that all care provided meets the highest standards of quality and safety
– Monitor the health and well-being of children, including administering medications and treatments as necessary
– Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of care
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each child’s care and progress
– Stay informed about best practices in childcare and implement changes as needed
– Handle any emergencies or challenging situations that may arise
Experience:
– Must be a registered manager for Children’s residential home .with a valid license
– Level 3 or 5 Diploma in leadership and Management for Residential Childcare for equivalent qualification.
– Recent experience working either as a Children’s home registered Manager.
– Familiarity with assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments is a plus
– Knowledge of dementia care is beneficial
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
