Part-Time Administrator (Temporary)

Burgess Hill Part-Time Immediate Start 1-2 Month Assignment

We are recruiting for a highly organised and professional Part-Time Administrator to join a friendly and busy office in Burgess Hill on a temporary basis for an initial 1-2 month assignment.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a property, legal, conveyancing or professional services environment who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven role and has excellent attention to detail. As part of a close-knit team, you’ll also need to be dog friendly, as office dogs are regular visitors!

Working Hours

• 3 full days per week or 4 shorter days per week
• Tuesday is a mandatory working day
• Office hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am – 5:00pm Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing legal sales packs for property sales
• Managing company secretariat administration
• Processing post-completion documentation
• Handling property consents and variations
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Liaising with solicitors, clients and external stakeholders
• Providing general administrative support to the wider team

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous administration experience within a property, legal or conveyancing environment is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Comfortable using systems such as Dropbox, Slack and VOIP telephone systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Process-driven and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• IT literate and confident learning new systems
• Calm under pressure and able to work to deadlines
