Job Summary
A well-established, patient-centred medical practice in Harlow is looking for a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join its dynamic healthcare team. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing services, including wound care, immunisations, and routine health screenings.
Conduct patient assessments, develop personalised care plans, and support a holistic, patient-centred approach.
Work closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Offer patient education and promote health to empower individuals in managing their own well-being.
Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records, ensuring full compliance with all relevant guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin.
Previous experience in a primary care or community healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Skilled in administering child and adult immunisations and performing cervical smears.
Experience with chronic disease management is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Proficient in using clinical systems and electronic patient records.
