Exciting Opportunity: Locum Pharmacy Assistant

Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant – Dispensary Role (8 Weeks Contract)

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant to join an NHS run hospital in North West London, for an 8-week contract in the inpatient dispensary. This position is available immediately and offers a full-time, Monday to Friday schedule.

Key Details:

• Role: Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant (Dispensary)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM (1-hour lunch break)
• Location: Inpatients (hospital setting)

Daily Responsibilities:

• Dispensing medications
• Hatch work
• Labelling medications
• Answering telephone queries
• Supporting general dispensary tasks as needed

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in dispensary roles preferred, but NVQ Level 2 not essential
• Ability to work full-time (part-time not considered)
• Must be available for the full 8-week contract
