Social Value Portal
Love being the person who sorts it? Keep two directors organised at a growing London business, for up to £35,000 with flexible hours on offer.
About us
We’re Social Value Portal, the UK market leader in social value measurement, now growing globally.
Since 2014, our clients across the public, private and voluntary sectors have unlocked over £74bn of social value.
The role
You’ll be at the heart of our commercial team, working closely with our Chief Commercial Officer, Sales Director and the sales team.
It’s a varied role. One day you’re organising diaries and meetings, the next you’re rebooking a flight at short notice.
You’ll get to know how each director likes to work, spot what’s needed and take ownership of keeping things moving.
We’re a friendly, supportive team who enjoy what we do and look out for each other. You’ll report to our People Director.
What you’ll do
You’ll:
• Manage diaries and book internal and external meetings
• Plan UK and long-haul travel and hotels, often on quick turnarounds
• Manage inboxes and flag what needs a reply
• Prepare agendas and presentations, minute meetings and chase actions
• Run the sales phone line, fielding and redirecting calls
• Help plan strategy days, events and our December conference
What you’ll bring
Essential:
• Proven experience in an admin, PA, reception or office support role
• Experience managing diaries and booking travel for other people
• Intermediate skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Clear, accurate written English
Useful, not essential:
• Experience supporting more than one senior manager
• Experience helping to run events or conferences
