We are looking to recruit a part-time Doctors Receptionist for a busy Milton Keynes GP Practice. The role will include dealing with members of the public; answering telephones; booking appointments; processing prescription requests, answering electronic queries and all other Practice based admin. You may be asked to help with chaperoning for clinical staff. You will be the central hub for the patients, staff and visitors. Experience in a GP Practice would be helpful, but is not essential for the right person.
The afternoon surgery shift is 13.15-20.00 on Mondays but 13.15-18.30 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
There is no regular weekend or bank holiday work. You may be asked to work some overtime to cover annual leave/sickness but this would be discussed in advance.
