Part-Time Assistant Accountant – Sheffield (Hybrid) – 22 Hours – Starting Salary £17,800 – Public Sector

Your new role
This is a part-time position, so flexibility with hours is required. The main responsibilities of this role are the preparation of cashflows and treasury management, accounting for capital spending and fixed assets.
You will also be tasked with supporting monthly financial reporting and internal and external auditors.
Reconciliation of accounts and accurate inputting of and recording financial transactions in journals as required.
Help to manage the financial services intranet with up-to-date information on systems, payroll and pensions.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous Public Sector experience Highly Desirable
• AAT Qualified or equivalent
• Experience of Month and year-end procedures
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Journal Management
