KS2 Teacher, KS2 Teaching jobs, Wolverhampton, £135-£170 MPS The new academic year is in full swing and so, with that in mind, we’re looking for individuals who are confident in teaching the KS2 age range and can come in and hit the ground running. This could be perfect if you only want to work part-time, if you’re new to teaching or if you’d like to take a step back from all the full responsibilities as a full-class teacher.

Your new role
Supply cover teachers are responsible for covering lessons that are left absent by the class teacher, so in this role you will be using existing lesson plans left for the class and making sure these are carried out to a high standard. You will need to ensure pupils are still fully engaged with the learning and be adaptable when required. You should be able to build relationships quickly and hold strong behaviour management skills. This is a great role to broaden your experience working in various schools and year groups and to expand your knowledge.

What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you ;

• Hold a qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK
• Be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running.
• Have good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Have a DBS or be willing to apply for one.
