Part-Time Key Stage 1 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: Sheffield S11
Contract: Part-Time, Fixed Term (February 2025 – July 2025)
Days: Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Salary: Pro-rata 3 days a week, Main Pay Scale

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, covering a mixed Year 1/2 class from February 2025 until July 2025. This is a job share position, working closely with an established KS1 teacher to ensure continuity and support in delivering the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for a mixed Year 1/2 class, collaborating with the job share partner to provide a seamless learning experience for the children.
• Promote a positive and engaging learning environment, catering to the developmental needs of young learners.
• Track pupil progress and adapt lesson plans as needed, maintaining high standards for both academic achievement and personal development.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1.
• Confidence in delivering the KS1 curriculum with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment that supports all learners.
