Airmid Staffing is looking for an experienced care worker to support a lovely 1-year-old boy. Our client is based in Ashford, Kent and we are looking for careers with experience working with children with complex needs. Summary

He is a lovely young boy 4 years old with a Brain injury, and challenging behaviour. The ideal career would be caring, passionate and enjoys working with children with learning disabilities. He loves to play with his toys and to learn and sensory stimulation.

If you have experience with

Ventilator dependent and requires ventilation for all daytime naps and overnight. LTV Plan in place.

Personal care

Suctioning via mouth and nose

Child requires oxygen saturation monitoring / administer

Care and use of Oxygen saturation monitor when asleep or unwell.

Monitor skin for pressure areas due to reliance on equipment (ventilator and oxygen mask) and stomas (gastrostomy)

Medication administration

Location: Ahsford (Kent)

Salary: £15-£19ph ( PAYE or Umbrella welcome)

Shift pattern: 10pm 7am Mon Sun

Requirements:

You must have the right to work and live in the UK; therefore, you must be a UK Citizen or Indefinite Leave to Remain.

Basic Life Support & Moving and Handling (Practical)

DBS on the update service

Have at least 6 months experience in caring for children with disabilities

Be able to commit to getting compliant within the next few days. 2 satisfactory professional references

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and meet the above criteria.
