Role Overview:

As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents within the care home and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care tailored to each individual s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal support.
• Monitor and report changes in patients conditions to the nursing staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by medical professionals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications/Experience:

• At least 6 months experience as a Health Care Assistant or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
• Flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
