MMP Consultancy is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a school in Croydon on a permanent, part-time basis. This role offers the perfect opportunity for those seeking a term-time only position, giving you the school holidays off.
Candidates will be responsible for light catering responsibilities, such as delivering of food (not preparation), and cleaning the kitchen and dishes.
Key Details:
Hours: 10am – 2pm, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)
Term-Time Only: Work 39 weeks per year, but paid for 44 weeks, over a 12 month period.
Rate of Pay: 12 per hour (paid monthly, PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with food preparation and service in the school kitchen.
Ensuring the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
Supporting the kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient service.
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
Reliability and a willingness to learn are the main requirements for this role.
