Job Title: Catering Assistant

Location: Wollaston, Northamptonshire

Hours: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: 12 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Catering Assistant to join our team in Wollaston. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for customer service and food preparation.

The successful candidate will assist with general duties such as washing dishes, serving customers, making sandwiches and rolls, and restocking fridges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing: Clean and maintain all kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
• Customer Service: Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Food Preparation: Prepare sandwiches, rolls, and other food items according to the menu.
• Restocking: Ensure fridges and display areas are well-stocked and organised throughout the day.
• Health & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a catering or food service role is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
