Your Main Responsibilities:
Specialised Care: Provide advanced nursing assessments, plan and implement care for patients with tissue viability needs, and evaluate outcomes.
Prevention and Treatment Expertise: Work with patients and professionals to manage and treat pressure ulcers and leg ulcers, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Leadership and Collaboration: Take initiative, make independent decisions, and work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines to deliver holistic patient care.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and service development projects to ensure our care remains at the highest standard.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications: Registered Nurse with experience in leg ulcer management or tissue viability.
Teaching and Training
Ability to work with and lead others across profession.
Community nursing qualification experience of working in primary care
Desirable: Experience in teaching, leading teams, and community nursing qualifications.
Skills & Knowledge: Advanced wound care skills, the ability to make informed decisions, strong organizational skills, and effective communication. Familiarity with NHS policies, quality improvement, and clinical governance is desirable.
