Job description

Warrington’s Own Buses have some new opportunities for none PCV licence holders. We have a need to recruit a number of employees to deliver the business to the highest level.

We are open to engage current car drivers who are able to train to achieve a PCV licence and become one of our qualified bus drivers.

We have a number of various employment opportunities with flexible times and also part and fulltime, also with a school time only operation, to assist the people who wish to work but have their own commitments

Customer service is key skill which we look for in all our applicants, so if this is an area you excel in, then we have the perfect role for you. Paying competitive rates from trainees start from £12.25 and full PCV licence holders from £14.50 per hour and £15.00 for overtime.

What we require from you:

A can do and positive attitude

• Ability to be trained to PCV standards by our training centre
• Valid licence
• An application submitted PCV provisional licence (we can assist if required )
• Valid CPC entitlement: -Training given
• 6 points or less on your driving licence
• Passed fit for a PCV medical: -We provide this medical
• No drink driving conviction: – Spent or Pending
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Training Program

What’s on offer:

• Full training to achieve a PCV licence by our qualified driving instructors
• All will complete an in-depth training package under our Hello You program
• Training will include
• Vehicle familiarisation
• Route learning,
• Ticket machines,
• Customer care,
• Policies, and procedures,
• Health, and safety awareness.
• Full time hours: 38.5 per week – additional overtime on request
• Part-time 20 with additional hours are available if requested
