A Site Assistant is sought for a reputable educational institution situated in the heart of Swindon. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to join the site team, where the successful candidate will report to the Site Manager. The ideal applicant should demonstrate prior experience in a similar role within the education sector and possess comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to the workplace.

We are pleased to announce the availability of both full-time and part-time positions. The successful candidates will be expected to work from Monday to Friday, including evenings and weekends; therefore, a high degree of flexibility is essential. Both roles offer a competitive salary, ranging from £12,393 to £26,285, contingent upon contracted hours and individual experience. As a site assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of the facilities, including opening and securing the premises. You will assist with a variety of maintenance tasks, both planned and emergent in nature. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with external contractors as required. Your role will also involve supporting facility rental activities by ensuring that venue halls, fields, and rooms are appropriately set up before use and systematically cleared following events.

Ideal candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of health and safety protocols and possess exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues, educators, and students. A customer-centric approach to interactions with external users is essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Furthermore, candidates should have fundamental DIY skills.
