About the role

The FRA has been innovative in its approach to Higher Education. Our accelerated degree programmes are unique within fashion business education in the UK. They are delivered over 2 years and include industry placement and mentoring opportunities. Due to our success and plans to expand our programme offer we are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Marketing/Fashion Business to join our Higher Education team.

The Senior Lecturer will plan, organise and deliver exceptional teaching activities for their module, ensuring every student receives the highest quality teaching, learning and feedback, successfully preparing them for roles in industry.

We are open to either part-time or full-time applications. Please specify your preference in your application.

About you

• You will have a BA/ BSc (Hons) Degree in Fashion Business, Marketing, Buying and Merchandising, Retail or Management or related subject, or comparable CPD.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification PhD/MA/PGCHE or comparable CPD would be beneficial.
• A PG CERT in HE Teaching.
• You will have proven track record in teaching or training, preferably in higher education.
• This role is suited to a subject specialist who is passionate about delivering a highly industry relevant and student-centred curriculum.
• We are interested in applicants who are both direct from academia (experienced senior lecturers in Higher Education) and the fashion industry.
• Outstanding current knowledge of subject area (either Fashion Marketing or Fashion Business) and Fashion Retail landscape.

Salary:

From £43,200 to £48,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience (FTE)
