Job Summary
A well-established, patient-centered medical practice in Staines-upon-Thames is looking for a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join its dynamic healthcare team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing services, including wound care, immunizations, and routine health screenings.
Conduct patient assessments, create tailored care plans, and support a holistic, patient-centered approach.
Collaborate closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
Offer patient education and promote health to empower individuals in managing their well-being.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, ensuring full compliance with all relevant guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin.
Previous experience in a primary care or community healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Proficient in administering child and adult immunizations and cervical smears.
Experience in chronic disease management is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
Competent in using clinical systems and electronic patient records.
