Are you passionate about early years education and helping young learners thrive? We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield, with a focus on delivering phonics intervention sessions to small groups of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting Year 1 students in their phonics development through tailored, small group intervention sessions.
• Assisting class teachers with general classroom duties and providing one-to-one support where needed.
• Helping students build confidence in reading and writing, ensuring progress in their phonics understanding.
• Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting, ideally with phonics knowledge.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
