Experienced KS2 Teachers required for Wirral supply teaching work from September 2024

Your new company
This new academic year Hays Education will again be working with over 65% of Wirral primary schools. We will be placing teachers into work with schools on a daily basis across the Wirral, including in Wallasey, Birkenhead, Bebington, Bromborough, Eastham, Moreton, Hoylake, Heswall, West Kirby, to provide last minute and advance booked supply teaching cover.
Your new role
We are still looking for experienced and flexible KS2 teachers to join our Wirral supply teaching pool from September. You will be working in various schools across the Wirral, covering a range of KS2 classes, and may also have the opportunity of providing PPA cover, intervention and booster-based work. Work available will include daily and short-term cover assignments, as well as longer-term positions, and may be full or part-time, depending on your availability.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and the school’s expectations, and may be required to plan and assess work depending on the role. You will be required to manage your classroom and behaviour effectively, and follow any appropriate school policies.
You will also be expected to follow the school’s safeguarding procedures, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be eligible for Wirral KS2 supply teaching work you must have:

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)A minimum of 6 months of UK teaching experience in the last 2 years in KS2 classesA flexible and adaptable approach to teachingA strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworksProven and effective behaviour management skillsExcellent communication and organisational skillsReliability, dedication and professionalism at all times
