A well-established HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety consultancy, with nearly four decades of experience, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to work three to four days per week. They are known for their pragmatic, client-focused approach, partnering with a diverse range of businesses, from SMEs to large manufacturers, primarily in the Northwest. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to work closely with clients, ensuring their Health & Safety practises are top-notch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on day-to-day Health & Safety issues across various industries.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
• Prepare and review essential H&S documentation, such as policies, procedures, and FRA reports.
• Act as a business partner to clients, offering pragmatic and commercially sound solutions rather than enforcing regulations.
• Potentially contribute to business development by attending sales meetings, writing proposals, and converting leads.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a qualified H&S advisory or consultancy role, with exposure to diverse industries, including manufacturing.
• Degree or diploma level qualifications in Health & Safety, with IOSH Managing Safety training capability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
• A commercial mindset, capable of understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Flexibility in managing your own calendar, with a willingness to travel across the Northwest (and occasionally beyond).
