Finance Officer Part Time

Our client, a prestigious London University, is currently seeking a temporary, part-time (10 hours per week, across 3-days) Finance Officer, running for 3-months in the first instance, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

• Completing financial administration tasks to ensure that financial data is accurate.
• Acting as a liaison between budget holders and the financial team.
• Ensuring effective running of invoicing and credit control procedures, including liaising with the financial team to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with the wider organisation, supporting the smooth running of the financial management infrastructure.
• Completing monthly reconciliation reports of the income and expenditure for the subcontractors.
• Attending and minuting the Finance Committee meetings.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

• Previous experience in a similar role working within the not-for-profit sector.
• A proactive and flexible working approach.
• Strong experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong practical understanding of information governance, data protection and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
