Job Title: Class 1 Day & Night Air Freight Drivers

Salary:

• Days – £56,160 pa based on 60 hours per week Mon to Fri with the ability to increase to £62,400 pa if you work a 6th day every other week.
• Nights – £62,400 pa based on 60 hours per week Mon to Fri with the ability to increase to £68,640 pa if you work a 6th day every other week.
• Salary is paid through PAYE and is INCLUSIVE OF HOLIDAY PAY

Shift duration and Days: Minimum 12 hours per day. Often increases to 15 hours. We have work 7 days a week and can tailer your working week according to your schedule/commitments. We can provide a 4 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off, weekends only, Monday to Friday, Thursday to Monday, Saturday to Wednesday etc.

Job Description:

Our customer is a leading player within the Cargo airfreight industry who have secured a large contract with UK’s largest airline, as such are looking to increase their current workforce. We are looking for drivers who are prepared to be flexible in their approach and are prepared to do long distance driving with frequent overnights, alongside waiting around the horse shoe.

Company Requirements:

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver Qualification (CPC) Card
• Valid C+E Entitlement with minimum of 2 years experience
• Maximum 6 points on license DR, DD or IN conviction codes will not be accepted
• Full 5 Year employment history with no more than 28-day gaps in employment – You must be able to provide your history using the Government Gateway portal and provide to us in PDF format.
• DBS dated within the last 10 weeks
• Valid Cargo Operative Certificate previously known as a Level D
• Dangerous Good Category 8 desired
• Manual Handling training
• Health & Safety Awareness training
• Working at heights awareness training
• Be ok to sit a driving assessment with one of the customers approved driving assessors.
