Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists
Do you want to use your fundraising, marketing and leadership expertise to make a lasting difference to the lives of children and young people? Are you ready to help an ambitious charity grow its reach, influence and impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join The Young Lives Foundation (YLF) as its new Director of Fundraising and Marketing, leading the charity’s next phase of growth.
YLF is an award-winning children’s charity working across the South East of England, providing vital Advocacy, Mentoring, Befriending and Youth Programmes. At the heart of everything is a commitment to ensuring children and young people are heard, supported and empowered.
As YLF looks to the future, we’re seeking an ambitious and inspiring leader who can bring together exceptional income generation expertise, creative marketing thinking and strategic vision to help take the charity to the next level.
A new and pivotal strategic leadership role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how YLF is seen, understood and recognised, both locally and nationally. Through compelling storytelling, a strong and distinctive brand, meaningful partnerships and creative audience engagement, you’ll help raise the charity’s profile and extend its influence.
Leading and inspiring the fundraising and marketing team, you’ll work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and colleagues across the organisation. You’ll be joining a close-knit, collaborative charity where people genuinely care about their work and each other. YLF’s values of honesty, innovation, flexibility and gratitude are central to its culture.
We’re looking for someone with the vision, creativity and drive to help YLF achieve its ambitions. Could that be you?
The charity is based in Kent, and you’ll need to be comfortable travelling to the Maidstone office and across the county to develop partnerships and build relationships with supporters, businesses and stakeholders. Being visible and accessible to colleagues and the Senior Leadership Team is also important.
If you’re an ambitious fundraising and marketing leader who wants to shape an organisation, build its influence and help change young lives, we’d love to hear from you!
