Financial Controller

Near Stalham, Norfolk £50,000 – £60,000 Part-time or Full-time

We’re working with a successful business near Stalham that is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function. Working closely with the owners and wider business, you’ll have the opportunity to improve reporting, strengthen financial controls and make better use of the company’s ERP system.

The Role

You’ll take the lead across:

• Financial reporting and preparation of year-end accounts
• Management information to support commercial decision-making
• Cashflow and quarterly reporting requirements
• Financial controls and audit
• End-to-end payroll and pensions
• Credit control and oversight of smaller group entities
• ERP improvements, reporting and reducing manual processes
• Improving the overall efficiency of the finance function

About You

You’ll be an experienced Financial Controller or senior finance professional with strong hands-on accounting experience and the confidence to take ownership of a finance function.

You’ll need a good understanding of financial reporting and controls, alongside the systems mindset to identify where processes and information can be improved.

Manufacturing experience would be useful but isn’t essential. What’s more important is that you’re commercially minded, comfortable working directly with business owners and interested in understanding how the wider business operates.
