Peabody
Are you a caring person who wants a rewarding career where you can genuinely change lives?
At Peabody, our Care Support Workers help people live independently, confidently, and safely in their own homes and communities. Every day is different. One moment you could be supporting someone with their daily routine, and the next you could be helping them pursue a hobby, access their community, or achieve a personal goal.
We’re looking for compassionate, reliable people who share our values and are passionate about supporting others. No previous care experience is required. If you have the right attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
We have full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (15 hours) opportunities available. Please state in your application which role you would like to be considered for.
In this role, you’ll provide person-centred support, assist with personal care and daily living tasks, promote independence and wellbeing, maintain accurate records, and work closely with customers, colleagues, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
This is a rewarding but hands-on role that requires flexibility, as services operate on a 24-hour basis, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and overnight shifts.
A full, clean UK manual driving licence is essential for this role.
When you join Peabody, you’ll become part of a supportive organisation guided by our values: Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises, and Pull Together.
In return, you’ll receive excellent training and development opportunities, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, up to a 10% pension contribution, life assurance, employee discounts, wellbeing support, paid volunteering days, and the opportunity to build a long-term career while making a lasting difference to people’s lives.
