Location: Belsize Park, North West London
Salary: 13.09 per hour ( 13,940.85 per year)
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm
Contract: Part time, term time only – 42.60 paid weeks per year, inclusive of holiday entitlement

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at a lovely boys’ school in Hampstead, North West London.

Working alongside the Chef Manager, you will help with the smooth day-to-day running of the school kitchen, supporting food preparation, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, and helping serve lunch to the pupils.

Key responsibilities:

– Assisting with basic food preparation.

– Helping serve lunch to the pupils.

– Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy.

– Washing up and carrying out general kitchen cleaning duties.

– Supporting the Chef Manager and wider catering team as required.

– Following food hygiene, health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate:

– Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.

– Is reliable, punctual and well organised.

– Has good attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

– Has previous kitchen or catering experience, although this is not essential for the right person.

Start date: Ideally week commencing 9 November 2026.
