Finance Manager Part Time

Our client is one of the UK’s leading animation, games and VFX schools, supplying the industry with studio-ready talent. Their courses are designed and delivered with industry experts within a welcoming, close-knit and successful community.

They are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). In this hands-on role, you will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, while working closely with the Finance Director to support their growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations including invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee VAT returns
• Assist with audits and maintain effective internal controls

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or part-qualified with relevant experience
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Xero preferred)
• Knowledge of UK financial regulations (VAT, Corporation Tax)
• Detail-oriented, organised, and collaborative
