Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in care homes settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily living activities, fostering a positive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility assistance.
• Implement individual care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Drive to various locations as required for home care assignments.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by following health and safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in creating and following care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Ability to speak fluent English is essential for effective communication.
