Your new role
We haveguaranteed supply teaching work available for flexible and dedicated primaryschool teachers from September 2024. As a Hays Education Guarantee teacher, wewill ensure you supply work in various schools across Bristol on thepre-arranged days you are available, covering classes from EYFS to Year 6according to your experience. Work may also include PPA cover, intervention andbooster-based work. Work available will mainly include daily and short-termcover assignments, as well as longer-term positions should you be can guarantee work on a full or part-time basis, depending on youravailability.

Duringyour working day you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effectivelessons that meet the needs of all pupils and the school’s expectations, andmay be required to plan and assess work depending on the role.

Youwill also be expected to follow the school’s policies and safeguardingprocedures, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.

What you’ll need to succeed
To beeligible for a guarantee for primary supply teaching work you must have:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
• A minimum of 6 months of UK teaching experience in the last 2years
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• A strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessmentframeworks
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Reliability, dedication and professionalism at all times
