• Position Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location Wandsworth
• Pay: £55 per day
• Hours: Part- time 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Academics are seeking a Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to support two children with high special educational needs (SEN) in our nurturing nursery environment in Wandsworth

Academics are working with a warm and inclusive school nursery committed to providing high-quality education and care for all children. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where every child can thrive.

What We Are Looking For as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
– Experience working with children in early years, particularly those with special educational needs.
– A patient and understanding approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and their families.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
– A proactive mindset, ready to adapt to the individual needs of the children you support.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the daily care and support of two children with high SEN needs.
– Implement tailored learning activities and strategies to enhance their development and engagement.
– Work closely with the nursery team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
– Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the lead staff as necessary.
– Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed of their child’s development.
