Red Recruitment is recruiting a part-time Sales Agent to join our client, a growing business with great opportunities to build your knowledge of the financial services industry. They are a specialist insurance provider with over 40 years of experience helping people secure motor insurance across all of the UK.

This position is a fast-paced, customer-focused sales position working in a friendly, target-driven inbound sales environment. This position will demand the very best of your sales and customer services skills as you deal with new and existing customers. This role is located in Formby and is part-time.

Benefits and Package for a part-time Sales Agent:

• Salary: 24,255 pro rata
• Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week, hours between 9am – 5.30pm Monday and Tuesdays and Saturdays 9am – 2pm
• Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a part-time Sales Agent:

• Quoting and closing new or renewal business enquiries
• Building and maintaining long-standing client relationships
• Amending customer policies, payments and schedules
• Retaining existing clients at renewal
• Supporting customers with existing policy amendments
• Working towards individual and team targets
• Providing excellent rapport-building skills
• Handling sensitive information and following data protection principles
• Adhering to strict FCA guidelines

Key Skills and Experience of a part-time Sales Agent:

• You should have a positive “can do” attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• You should have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Previous Insurance or Financial Services Industry experience is required
